Three on Thursday

The America East slate continues with three games on Thursday, highlighted by Vermont at Hartford at 7:30 on NESN. We'll see if home teams continue to dominate, as they have gone 16-7 to start the season. Here are a few things to look for tonight:

Binghamton at New Hampshire, 7 p.m.
New Hampshire, winners in four of their last six, looks to snap a three-game losing skid against the Bearcats, who snapped a three-game losing skid with a win over Hartford Monday. The Wildcats are averaging 9.9 three-pointers per game in their seven victories and just 6.7 per game in their eight losses. Binghamton is the league's second-highest scoring team (69.5 ppg) behind only Vermont.

UMBC at Boston University, 7 p.m.
The Terriers have won three straight after Monday's epic 4-overtime win over Stony Brook. John Holland continues to be a monster in conference play, leading the league averaging 25.2 points per game. The Retrievers look to rebound after Monday's loss at Vermont. Jay Greene, who is only one of three players in the country to rank in top 15 in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio (North Carolina's Ty Lawson and Pitt's Levance Fields, missed that game with a concussion. No word on if he'll be available tonight.

Vermont at Hartford, 7:30 p.m. NESN
Hartford looks to snap a five-game losing streak against Vermont, which after dropping its first two conference games, has won three straight. The contest will be aired on NESN. Senior Jaret von Rosenberg ranks ninth with 14.2 points in conference play for the Hawks, who have won seven of their last 10 league games at Chase Arena. Vermont leads the league in both field goal percentage (.476) and field goal percentage defense (.413).
