Stony Brook Improves to 7-5 With Win at Air Force

Bryan Dougher scored 22 points and Muhammad El-Amin poured in 20 to lead Stony Brook to a 67-64 win at Air Force on New Year's Eve. The Seawolves improve to 7-5 with the win, its best 12-game start since the 1993-94 season and best at the Division I level. Demetrius Young added a spark off the bench with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes. As a team, Stony Brook outrebounded the Falcons 35-23 and held them to just 3 offensive boards. Air Force was 9-3 entering the game and had advanced to the Mountain West Conference Championship game a year ago.

No games tomorrow, but we'll look ahead to the start of conference play this weekend. Happy New Year.
