Basketball Season Begins Friday

The America East men's basketball season begins Friday night with five schools in action. Hartford, which advanced to the America East Championship game a season ago, plays host to Quinnipiac live on NESN at 7 p.m. Preseason favorite Boston University entertains George Washington at Agganis Arena at 7 p.m. Maine gets the season started at 4 p.m. when it plays Northern Illinois in the 100 Club Classic in Kennesaw, Ga. Stony Brook plays host to Maryland Eastern Shore at 7 p.m. Albany travels to Villanova at 8 p.m.
